Departmental JTSC Joint Teacher Staff Students Committee  

The Departmental JTSC Joint Teacher Staff Students Committee, composed by an equal number of teachers and students, is a permanent observatory of teaching activities that monitors the educational offer and the quality of teaching and support services, collecting and discussing reports and the proposals of students and teachers.

The Committee draws up an annual report for each degree programme reporting critical issues, good practices and suggestions for improvement. Particular attention is reserved for the opinions of all students, collected using the survey at the end of the lessons. For this aspect, the contribution of the student representatives present in the commission, in turn, users of teaching and related services, is particularly important.

The annual reports of the JTSC are shared with the management bodies of the degree programme to adopt corrective or improvement actions, and with the Independent Evaluation Unit, the Academic Senate and the Quality Assurance Board.

In the departmental JTSC, students and teachers for each degree programme of which the Department is the main reference are involved in. Students are selected among and by the student representatives present on the Department or the Interdepartmental Teaching Boards. If no elected representatives of each degree programme are identified, the Committee should identify students through a specific call issued by the President of the JTSC.
