International Network for Translating Research on Perinatal Derivatives into Therapeutic Approaches (SPRINT)
The proff. Fausto Cremonesi and Anna Lange Consiglio are members of the COST ACTION called SPRINT - International Network for Translating Research on Perinatal Derivatives into Therapeutic Approaches - as the only representatives of the Veterinary Medicine area. The project has been approved and financed: it started on 9 January 2019 and will continue until 15 October 2022.
The main purpose and objective of the Action is to implement and integrate a global network, from a scientific, medical and industrial point of view to better investigate and explore the therapeutic potential of perinatal derivatives in the field of regenerative medicine.
SPRINT is the first network to become a structured and aggregating nucleus that actively and continuously helps to link different European research groups to work in the field of perinatal cells and derivatives, promoting information flow, problem solving, defining guidelines for standardizing protocols and promoting basic and translational regenerative medicine. The COST SPRINT is characterized by funds not for research activities but only for reimbursement of expenses for participation in the meetings.
